Glitter Glow Beading

Netted earrings with fringe, the pattern is in the Design Originals book Basics of Beading.

This bracelet turned into a sort of patchwork freeform design. I started out with squares of different stitches - brick stitch triangles, square stitch, right angle weave, peyote stitch, herringbone stitch, netting stitch and brick stitch. Then I added embellishment down each side, then put little flowers on each join. I quite like the result!

These earrings are done in the herringbone weave, my very first try hence a bit messy!! The pattern is by Eni Oken in the book Contemporary Bead and Wire Jewelry by by Nathalie Mornu and Suzanne J.E. Tourtillott.

This is a wire cuff from the book Bead & Wire Jewelry for Special Occasions by Linda Jones.

And this is a wire charm bracelet, the pattern was in an issue of Beadwork magazine.

The first are called Bollywood Earrings, the pattern is by Eni Oken from the book Contemporary Bead and Wire Jewelry. The bead I used made the earrings turn out a bit heavy though, unfortunately.

The next three are patterns from the book Bead and Wire Art Jewelry by J Marsha Michler. They were my sisters birthday present

This is my try at the Etsy Beadweavers Challenge for this month, the theme is “fire and flowers”. It’s a type of netting called Ogalala lace, for the fire part, and the flower is the clasp. Go to the Etsy Beadweavers site to vote, starting on April 7.

This was my experiment doing a pattern in three rows. The pattern used to be on Robyn’s page but is no longer there.

I made this necklace for my mother for her birthday. It’s the most beautiful pattern by Gillian Lamb. I got her book called “Beaded Treasures” for Christmas. Lots of nice patterns in there!
